David Burke is a documentary filmmaker and former 60 MINUTES producer/writer in New York who came with his wife Joanne to Paris for what they expected to be a year. Now it’s thirty. Besides his book Writers in Paris, Literary Lives in the City of Light, he has written two editions of Harper/Collins’s Access Paris, the guide book Mediterranean France for the Globe Pequot Press, and numerous articles for magazine and web sites. At the same time, he and his award-winning producer/ director wife Joanne Burke have produced twelve documentary films since here.
